The rate of rooting depends on the applied substrate. The bulbs, planted in peat take root quickly and amicably. Already 10 days after planting rooted more than 50% of planted bulbs. The bulbs planted in sawdust, taking root more slowly. Within 10 days after planting rooted not more than 20% of bulbs. In pure sand rooting began only a month after planting. This may affect the safety of the bulbs during the period of establishment and yield of finished products.
