About Tulips

Tulip - bulbous plant of the family Liliaceae, wintering eggs in the soil. In the wild it grows in Central Asia, on land adjacent to the Caspian and Black seas in the Mediterranean. |

Bulb in a dry scales are usually brown or copper color. Flowers single, large, paint them the most diverse, long stem, leaves beschereshkovye, longitudinally oval, pointed, covered with a waxy coating.

Currently there are about 2500 varieties, united in 15 horticultural classes. Plants can be designed on the Cut, on distillation or for the cultivation of the beds. There are 4 groups: ranotsvetuschie, media netsvetuschie, pozdnotsvetuschie, garden tulips, have retained features of an original form, as well as wild.
